Adam Silver threatens sanctions against Mark Cuban for holding unpopular views

HERE WE GO AGAIN

“Mark Cuban’s comments were unacceptable in light of what the NBA is going through right now”, states Adam Silver, “and the League is reviewing those comments to determine if their are racial undertones, and will likely issue a statement within the next 24 hours….Moreover, we have discussed with credible witnesses, gender inappropriate comments they heard that were made by two other team owners. We cannot single out one team owner, over another.  All team owners are now subject to close scrutiny for what they believe”

Mark Cuban is the owner of another NBA team, the Mavricks. He is also the star of a TV show Sharks. Marc Cuban stated, “I know I’m prejudiced and I know I’m bigoted in a lot of different ways. If I see a black kid in a hoodie on my side of the street, I’ll move to the other side of the street. If I see a white guy with a shaved head and tattoos, I’ll move back to the other side of the street. None of us have pure thoughts; we all live in glass houses.”

Adam Silver, the NBA leader is serious about punishing anyone who makes unpopular statements or holds unpopular views. When asked about unpopular views he held previously regarding same sex marriage he replied, “I have never made an unpopular statement nor have I ever held unpopular views….my belief about same sex marriage is consistent with many Americans, I am squeaky clean and free of all sin.”
